and grandmother.. I have one son named Heath,
who has blessed me with 2 grandchildren
of which I am so proud.. Their names are Corrin Dawn
who is 15 years old and Kyle William who is 13 years old
I have been married to my husband Monte for 27 years..
We live in a rural area northeast of Pittsburgh, PA
in the United States of America..

I knew nothing about web sites or HTML..
I began this web site June 18, 2000 on what would have been my
Mother's 74th birthday...
I started this web page to tell you a little about me, my family
and my web site which of course is called "Life Happens"
I do hope you all will help me celebrate

I have been permanately disabled since April 3, 1998
That sounds like a long time ago, since it is in the
last century..hehe
I went through my ups and downs and still go through them
I do not dwell on the past, but I do look back and say to myself
"Self, you have accomplished a lot in your years on this earth"
I am also a recovering alcoholic and that is due to
God's Good Grace! My husband and I met in a rehabilitation
center for alcoholism and at the time we were told that
"rehab romances don't work" which may be true
if you go into the romance thinking the other person is going to
change to suit your needs.. I have learned that my recovery
depends on me, no person, place or thing can "make" me do
or say anything and it works the other way around too..
I cannot make you or anyone else think, say, feel or do
anything unless you allow that change to take place..
I control no one... And most of the time I also know
I have little control over me and no one else can control me..
This is my philosophy on life happening..
Hence, the name "Life Happens"!!
